Wonderfully ornate original vintage paraffin heater. From 30-50s, it looks to be in working order with some wick in place. We've found some instructions which we will include in the package, but unclip the top to open, then take off the regulator of the flame, remove the circular reservoir and fill. Then replace regulator and light. NOTE we have not tested this, but looks to be in working order, although we take no responsibility for this. Please message if you have any questions.
Clearly the appearance has signs of wear - most of the black paint has worn off, the 'mica' (early sort of plastic film) has largely gone from the screen and there is plenty of rust - but this just adds to the charming vintage look!
We would just use it simple as a plant stand in the garden, but can also keep you toasty for those covid-safe garden get-togethers throughout the colder months.
Height 62cm, width at widest point 42cm.
Will post for free within UK using Royal Mail second class (there is apparently no trace of paraffin left in the heater).
