Vintage blue enamel jug with lid

European enamel pitcher/jug with lid - this is perfect for an oversized bunch of flowers, or dried flowers/pampas grass as it's really quite tall (see dimensions). Alternatively for storage in kitchen or utility - the whole is big enough for a hand, so maybe cat biscuits, laundry tablets? Its markings on the bottom show it is European perhaps Hungarian or Romanian? The enamel is a wonderful bright blue - I'd call it cobalt. This item is vintage so there is obvious signs of wear and tear with rust at edges and the two bigger patches you can see in the later pictures. But no dents so the fabulous shape is retained in all its glory.
