We found this at an auction, where it was listed as a '1920s Indian brass tea caddy, tin lined'. It's a lovely thing, with intricate patterns and a great patina. It has a few dents and marks as you can see in the pictures, but that all adds to the character! Particularly notice the wear around the top where the lid has scuffed it over time. It looks a bit more of a silvery colour in real life compared with the more brass look in the photos. Dimensions are 14.5cm diameter, 18.5cm H.
