Original signed limited edition etching print by Gillian Stroudley, framed and glazed

$112.30

Gillian Stroudley was an English painter and printmaker from Surrey, born in 1925 and died in 1992. She studied at St Martin’s School of Art, and her etchings were shown at the Royal Academy and are in the collections of the National Library and Museum of Wales. This is a limited edition print, 47th out of 120. The image is of a boat on a shore, the handwritten inscription says what looks like 'Kilnbach' - which we can't find on google maps! - and might be Scotland or Ireland?

This print is on white heavyweight paper rather than being mounted. See photos for some minor wear/scuffing/spotting. The frame is good quality metal with a brushed finish at the sides and a shiny finish on the front profiles - but again there is some inevitable wear as this is a vintage item. The dimensions are 30cm W x 28.5cm H.

We will post for free to the UK mainland. Our experience of using the cheaper parcel services for delicate items is not good, so we will be using Parcel Force this time (the price takes this into account). Collection or local delivery can be arranged from IP23 or IP14 if you contact us before purchase. Message before purchase for a non-mainland quote. We wrap fragile items securely using reused packaging wherever we can.

PLEASE NOTE: it is always a bit risky buying delicate items to be posted. Delivery services, including Parcel Force, do not provide insurance for the delivery of a glazed item, so we will wrap it as well as we possibly can, but unfortunately if the mirror does end up being broken in transit, we will not be able to provide a refund (unless of course both you and we agree that the packaging was not adequate).
